Dave Cameron's 'Outer Tosser'

Oh dear... I know that unsecured personal debt is a ticking timebomb for the whole economy, but is this really the way to try and get people to face up to the problem?

Still, who am I to complain if the Tories want to call Scotland a region and insist that their potential voters are tossers? :-)

Cameron sacrificed a sizeable chunk of English support to criticise England in Scotland. What a waste of his time it you took from that that heviews Scotland as just a Region. I hope the SNP win and I hope England gets democracy again.

Hi Gavin,

I was being facetious about the 'Tosser' campaign rather than trying to make any deeper point. Nonetheless, I think the Tories are probably too far gone in Scotland to make any kind of recovery in their current state of mind, regardless of what David Cameron says or how nicely he says it.

It would be regrettable, if like you say, he did lose support in England simply for trying to reach out to voters in Scotland, though. There seems to be a lot of peevish, anti-Scottish sentiment flying around just now - hopefully an SNP victory will put an end to that once and for all.

Thanks for the link to the CEP. I'll make sure it goes up.
