4 excellent articles in The Scotsman in 3 days? I must be coming down with something! In addition to Ms Riddoch's effort highlighted in a previous post, here's another 3 articles well worth a minute of your time:
Ross Lydall: New boy has taken his seat – now for the hard bit
George Kerevan: Small countries looking best placed for recovery
Marc Coleman: Ireland is still a success story – and Scotland could be, too

Like Yourself, I am alwyas negative about the "Scotmans" coverage of most issues vis-a-vis Scotland. I must, however, agree that if not a change in editorial policy, there is a softening towards the cause of success in smaller economic regions(Ireland and Norway in particular) This is a Far-sightedness I would not have given the Scotsman credit for previously. George Kerevan, where are you? And who is manipulating you?
Not too poor too much cold water, maybe just a drop, but the Ireland situation is wishful thinking....
Good shake of the hand you got from Salmond after his speech there Richard. One Gordon politician to another before too long?
Hope you enjoyed the speech and, indeed, the Conference.
Fingers crossed, Jeff!
Sorry I didn't see you there. Guess you were too busy in Glenrothes and sorting out hire car problems...
