- After a few years working in the financial sector, I jumped the fence and now work as a political researcher. After a spell as Head of Campaigns at SNP HQ, I worked in the Scottish Parliament as a researcher. I then spent a year in Westminster before returning to Scotland. Yes, but it's still sinking in, Richard!
I was sure from about couple of weeks ago that the SNP was going to do it, thanks to the response I was getting on those much fabled doorsteps.
I'm on a train south now in anticipation of next week's flit back north. Maybe the full enormity will sink in some time after I've got the van loaded up :-)
